Return & Exchange Policy
Return Request Timeframe
We provide a return window of 7 days for the majority of purchases.
The return initiation period begins upon the package being delivered to your address by our tracking system. Within this 7-day window, encompassing weekends and holidays, you can submit a return/exchange request. Beyond this period, the submission of such requests will no longer be possible.

Condition Requirements for Returns
Returned items are required to be in new, unworn condition, with all tags or hanging ribbons intact.
Return & Exchange Fees
- Domestic Order Return: 30% restocking fee + $15 for a prepaid return shipping label OR full store credit + $15 for a prepaid return shipping label. Any purchase using store credit is final sale.
- Domestic Exchange: No restocking fee. $15 for a prepaid return shipping label.
Processing and shipping your exchange order may take up to 5 business days. Please keep in mind that we are only able to exchange for the same style & color as your original dress and we only permit for a single exchange. After the dress has been exchanged, returns are no longer permitted.
For orders containing multiple dresses, please note that our policy permits the return of only one dress per order.
Return & Exchange Process
Upon receiving your returned merchandise, which generally arrives within 6 business days followed by a day for inspection to confirm no damage, we immediately process your store credit or refund. This inspection assures that the item meets our quality standards. After confirming the item's condition, we issue store credit right away. For cash refunds, anticipate a processing time of 3-5 business days before the funds appear in your account from when we start the refund.
For those seeking to exchange an item, we offer two options:
- Standard Exchange: After we receive and inspect your returned dress for any damages, we'll proceed with sending you a replacement dress, provided no damage is found. If the dress is damaged, we'll inform you of the charges incurred for repair or replacement, and the new dress will be dispatched only after these costs are settled.
- Express Exchange: If you require a swift exchange, due to an upcoming event, we provide the option to expedite this process. This allows us to send the new dress immediately without waiting to receive the returned item first. For this service, you'll need to provide payment details upfront, which will only be utilized if the returned dress is found to be damaged upon receipt.
Please note that once the return label has been provided, you have up to 5 days to dispatch the dress back to us. After 5 days, the return label will be voided and your return or exchange request will be denied.
My Product Was Delivered Damaged
If any of the products you received are damaged or have a defect, please notify us within 48 hours after delivery via our returns portal or email us at info@thegowngalleria.com (Detailed photos will be required).
Please be aware that in the case of a defective item, we will promptly replace it with the exact same variant you originally ordered. Requests for an alternative variation of the item or an entirely different item will be subject to our standard return and exchange terms.
Return Shipping Timeline
Upon receiving the prepaid shipping label, please ensure that your return package is postmarked and in transit within 5 business days. Failure to comply with this timeframe will result in the termination of the return process.
Refund Processing Information
Upon receipt and verification of the returned items meeting the requirements, your refund will be promptly issued. Please note that depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take up to 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
